The Forum at Greenwich Charity and Community Centre are looking for volunteers to help support our busy reception and soft play areas.

Based on Trafalgar Road Greenwich SE10 9EQ

DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the Office Management, the Receptionist will be responsible for supporting various administrative projects and day-to-day duties for the organisation. Such responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering all incoming calls and refer calls to appropriate staff members, maintaining inventory of office supplies, sorting mail, booking in visitors to the Soft Play and Room Hire.

The Receptionist must demonstrate a commitment to great customer service to both our clients and, visitors.

You must ensure cleanliness of the reception and visitor areas throughout the day.

This position is ideal for an individual with strong organizational, interpersonal and verbal communication skills. 

RESPONIBILITIES: Essential Duties: 1. Greet Visitors 3. Answering phones/door 4. Sort and disseminate mail 5.Ordering and disseminating office supplies 7. Office meeting/conference room preparation and replenishment 8. Use of on-line booking system 8. Special Projects (As assigned by the Office Management) 

REQUIREMENTS: 1. Experience in Microsoft Office user including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. 2. Excellent verbal and written communication. 3. Experience with handling phone calls, email correspondence. Excellent customer service skills. 4. Excellent interpersonal skills, honest communication, positive attitude and ability to carry a professional tone.
